EMDR Trauma Therapy
Clearing out the pain of the past.
You may have found yourself here if you’re experiencing intense symptoms of post-traumatic stress (or PTSD), such as:
-Intrusive memories, nightmares, flashbacks, and hyper-vigilance.
-Perpetual anxiety, irritability, or hopelessness.
-Feeling like you just can’t get out of this cycle.
EMDR may help.
Through uncomplicated means, we will first together identify the moments in your life that have laid the neural foundation to your present symptoms. Then, utilizing EMDR and the energy between the two of us, gradually your brain can begin to rewire itself, one memory at a time, ultimately returning your body to a state of peace and rest. Results are profound and often felt sooner than anticipated.
It is hard work, but you won’t walk it alone. And you can begin to heal from the inside out.
EMDR for Single-Incident Trauma
If something terrible has happened.
Possibly, you have experienced a sudden loss, a car accident, natural disaster, job loss, divorce, or infidelity. Or maybe you have survived something, or witnessed something, that now leaves you on high-alert.
First, know that I’m sorry for what you’re going through. Second, know that EMDR may help dissolve the pain and fear, and restore your nervous system back to a state of calm. It is specifically known for its ability to produce rapid and profound results, particularly for single-incident traumas or specific phobias.
For some, significant progress and relief from symptoms can be experienced in a relatively short period, sometimes within just a few sessions.
